About Us

We are the InterCity Improv community.

The InterCity Long Form Improv Jam was founded during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine to provide improvisers, those without a theater or team to perform with, a virtual stage to learn, grow and play together. The jam has grown to represent players from across the world, featuring a local troupe and sketch composition from each of the represented cities in the jam. Eventually the community got big enough that we decided to call ourselves InterCity Improv, because we as community come together for our love of improv.

Mission Statement

We believe that you don’t necessarily need to be in an established performing theater to perform, so we bring each other up by bringing our best selves to play with others we may never have met before, then building connections between players and cities that will extend and last beyond the internet. This is a safe community full of friendly and welcoming people, so we do our best to accommodate everyone. We also continue to grow to help reach new audiences and players, hoping to inspire them through our love of improv.
